So why would you join us? Because how we deal with AI is going to change so many things we care about - like the stories in our books, the feelings in our songs, and the way we are with each other. At Purely Human, your efforts will be like the lighthouse keepers, tending the eternal flame of human relationships and artistic self-expression. This could involve organizing 'purely human' relationship and creativity events, advocating for human predominance in the world of relationships and art, or helping/mentoring emerging artists and relationship seekers. Or you could just keep on creating awesome relationships and art that are purely human, in mind and soul.
At Purely Human, you'll be a vital organ in a living body far grander than any single cell. As the world's anatomy alters with artificial implants, you'll be part of the heart and soul keeping the organism human. A dedicated antibody preserving our capacity for relationships, art, original thinking, emotional connection, expression - the vital signs defining our species.
We're quite pro-AI as said above.
But AI in uncaring hands can diminish and even eliminate the human component of art and relationships turning us into shallow marketers and performers, just frontending or consuming relationships or art created by AI. At Purely Human, we don't want that. Therefore we're committed to actively shaping a future where humans remain central to the creation process in relationships and art. This includes advocating for policies that champion human creativity and initiative putting the human at the forefront and helping shape guidelines and laws on how human artists, relationships and creation should be supported by technology. You'll be part of defining what comes next.
